Samsung Galaxy M30s will have Exynos 9611 SoC; Galaxy M10s with 4,000mAh battery launching too

The Samsung Galaxy M30s won't be the only M-series smartphone launching in India on September 18th. The Galaxy M10s and a new variant of the Galaxy M30 are also in the pipeline, Samsung's Senior Vice President Asim Warsi has confirmed to 91mobiles. He also revealed key details about the three handsets and the price segments they will belong to. Starting with Galaxy M30s, the handset will be priced in India between Rs 15,000–20,000 and employ Samsung's unannounced Exynos 9611 chipset, which was also spotted on Google Play Console listing a few days ago.

The Galaxy M30s, which is already confirmed to feature a 6,000mAh battery, will indeed have a 48-megapixel primary sensor on the triple rear camera setup at the back, added Warsi. The handset will pack the same 6.4-inch Infinity-U Super AMOLED display as the Galaxy M30. Speaking of which, the new variant of the Galaxy M30 will pack 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and will be priced in the country around Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000. Notably, the 4GB variant of the handset retails at Rs 14,990, so we expect the new one to be a couple of grand cheaper than that.

The Samsung Galaxy M10s, meanwhile, will come with a sticker price of under Rs 10,000. The successor to the Galaxy M10 will employ a beefy 4,000mAh battery instead of the original's smaller 3,400mAh cell. The handset will sport dual cameras at the back, probably, with the better sensors compared to its predecessor. That's all the information we can divulge at the moment. However, going by the previous leaks and rumours, the Galaxy M10s could ship with an octa-core 1.35GHz Exynos 7885 SoC, 3GB of RAM, and Android 9 Pie-based One UI operating system.
