Netflix released a new Hindi show called ‘Guns & Gulaabs‘ this weekend. It’s a comedy crime thriller all mixed in one starring Rajkummar Rao, Dulquer Salmaan and Adarsh Gourav. Set in the 90s, the series has romance and crime themes invoking a sense of nostalgia. The new Netflix series has been produced by D2R Films, known for The Family Man and Farzi, and Stree. Guns & Gulaabs is now available to stream on Netflix with seven episodes in total.

Farzi

Farzi is a black comedy crime thriller that has the same directors, Raj & DK, the duo behind Guns & Gulaabs. The series is about a disillusioned artist who fails to keep his grandfather’s printing press. He then decides to make counterfeit money with his best friend but is challenged by a gangster and a cop. Farzi has eight episodes in total, and it’s also confirmed to return for a second season.

Mirzapur

Mirzapur is a fan favourite when it comes to Hindi OTT series that it even beat Sacred Games to become the most popular web series in India. It’s an action crime thriller about Akhandanand Tripathi more famously known as Kaleen Bhaiya, the mafia don of Mirzapur in Uttar Pradesh. There have been two successful seasons of Mirzapur so far, and the third one is expected to release this year.

Kohraa
